Silk'n Sounds Chorus celebrates diversity, and welcomes women of all backgrounds,
cultures, and experiences. Every member brings unique talent and contributions that are
respected so that singers can grow and flourish in a supportive and equitable environment.
Silk'n Sounds became the first Connecticut chapter of Hamony, Inc. in 1998.

Harmony Inc.'s mission is to "empower all women through singing, education, and friendship."
Since 1959, Harmony, Inc. has expanded to include chapters in the United States and Canada, from
California to Newfoundland, from Manitoba to Florida. There are 2000+ members and close to 70 chapters.
