Mission Statement
Silk 'n Sounds is an organization of women
dedicated to singing a variety of music in four-part
harmony in the barbershop style. We find personal
joy and enrichment in the camaraderie as well as the
music, and in sharing our music with each other and
our audiences. We enjoy being challenged,
discovering our untapped potential and working
together to perfect our skills. We encourage and
promote the education of our members and the public
in the appreciation of barbershop music. We also
value the opportunity to make charitable
contributions to causes such as Autism.

Harmony, Inc. is a vibrant international
organization of women who are dedicated to the
performance and promotion of four-part a cappella
harmony in the barbershop style, the celebration of
friendship, personal growth and development through
education and the practice of democratic principles.
